He is enough

How will you know He saves if you have never been lost? Wandered in darkness?

How will you know He heals if you have never been sick and cried out for healing and He touched you? Or you touched the hem of His garment shaking, doubting and hurting because of the ridicule.

How will you know He provides if you have never lacked? If you have never trusted Him for the next meal, house rent….?

How will you know He is love, He loves you, if you have never been hated? If you have never cried He touches your heart with Love?

How will you know He is near the heart broken and those crushed in the spirit, if you have never been heart broken and begged Him to take the pain away? To remove the hurt? Even if you caused it yourself to yourself.

How will you know He is a Father, a good good Father if you have never asked Him to be a Father to you, to send you a father’s love?

How will you know He keeps His promises, if you have never waited? Waited for His timing?

How will you know He is trustworthy and faithful if you have never trusted Him fully? And not in your chariots and horses?

How will know He restores the joy of salvation, if you have never run on empty because everything is crumbling around you?

How will you know He doesn’t abandon, if you have never been abandoned and rejected and begged Him to mend your heart and embrace you with His love?

How will you know He is the avenger, if you have never left it all in His hands and told Him take the wheel Jesus?

How will you know He is the Master Planner, if you have never allowed Him to plan your life for you?

How will you know He is the Prince of Peace, if you have never been in that complicated hard situation and He calmed you down, He stilled you. He spoke to the storm and it obeyed. He held you tight you didn’t trip?

How will you know He makes ways where there are no ways, if you have never hit a dead end? No way ahead.

How will we know He causes water to flow in deserts, if we have never been through dry places in our lives? And all you could see is a wasteland but He made it productive and very fruitful.

How will you know He delivers, if you have never had a Mary Magdalene experience with Him, if you are still holding the alabaster box instead of pouring it on Him?

How will you know He is the One that can define you, give you correct identity, if you have never had self image and esteem issues and until He said to you you are enough because He is enough?

True Tuesday

Interesting how in life one could be full but not fulfilled.
We should all be after fulfillment, because this lasts longer.

Fulfillment could produce joy and gladness.
Only God can fulfill us because He created us He knows what we need, He is able to supply what we lack so we are fulfilled.
And this kind of relationship is not an on off one. It requires process that leads to intimacy with Him. Because one has to come to Him empty and with a deep longing for Him
He doesn’t force Himself, He has allowed us to choose. To choose Him or otherwise and wise people should always choose Him because He is God and He is the beginning and the end. Where else do we get that?
Our choices in these days will determine the kind of life we shall have, it is important we choose to seek God’s will and help because we are witnessing His flexed muscle in the earth.
Let’s choose to be shepherded by Him, remember what the psalmist said…. The Lord is my shepherd I shall not be in want or in lack. Simply means the shepherd knows what the sheep needs. Read the rest of psalm 23 with that understanding.
Also the shepherd’s voice can be trusted. The shepherd doesn’t call the sheep into the wilderness actually he calls the sheep out of the wilderness, the shepherd looks for the lost sheep and guides the sheep home gently and steadily.
The Shepherd wants us to know His voice because this is our GPS as we navigate life, His voice can be trusted, He knows the terrain more than the thousands of wisemen in the earth. No one who heard His voice, obeyed and responded and followed His leading lost the way.
The ultimate destiny is before Him and that should be our choice. To stand before Him and see Him face to face at the end of the day.
Make Him your choice today and always.
I too purpose to always choose Him and discard anything else that doesn’t help me with this choice. Not an easy path but He says His grace is available and sufficient…. His mercies are new every morning to remind us today is the day to make Him our choice don’t harden your voice if you hear His voice.

Mondays signify a new week, new plans and strategies.

~ But does it signify faith, courage, confidence, boldness and hope?
~ Does it signify God have it all, my week and days are in Your hands?
~ Does it signify I will lean not lean on my own understanding but lay it all before you?
~ Does it signify I am lost without You?
~ Does it signify I want Your voice to be the loudest in my heart and mind?
~ Does it signify You are my hiding place, my refugee, fortress and my safe place?
~ Does it start by God please this is my hand, guide me because You know the way perfectly?

If you have lost a loved one this may be a serious trigger. I suggest you don’t readit.

I have pushed a wheelchair twice in a hospital. Both times happened the same week and both times I pushed the same person. And both times pushing a wheelchair felt like moving a planet on my own strength. It is something I did not want to do, I did not see myself ever doing and maybe I don’t want to ever do again. You live this life with some sense of arrogance or maybe it is not arrogance, maybe it is just some assurance that things will always be good. That you are not like them that have to push wheelchairs or wait right outside an operation theater. The first time was Monday June 29 2020. The sun was up. Not so bright but it was having a good day…
